the last time we were at the Fair, Keira was all of 5 months old.
and now, the kid is playing her own carnival games.
she came home with 2 duckies and 3 fishies, all of which she gave the same name. Go figure.
we ate fair food, played fair games and even rode a fair ride. I'm not a huge fan of them, simply because I worry about how well the things are bolted and screwed together, but I did go on one ride with Keira:
that's us in the turquoise lane, second from the left. One, the hike up to the top of slide is ridiculous. I had to stop and let some people go passed us because it was a bit much for Keira's little legs to climb, let alone her own mother. The height started to wear on me too, but I tried to block that from my mind. By the time we got to the top, I was ready for a nap. Two, the slide with the bumps may look harmless, but they got me a little scared after the second or third one. I screamed the whole way down. I heard Keira let out a small sound of worry, but I held her tight until we were safely on the ground. You can see her face in the last picture...worried a bit?
I couldn't leave the fair without taking some photo booth pictures. We did it the last time we went, so I knew I wanted to do it again.
Kinda funny how our facial expressions haven't changed.
