remember those chocolate croissants I showed you from my freezer? here they are, last night, being set out to proof, i.e. rise, overnight.
here they are, this morning, after sitting out since 10pm last night. oh my, how they've grown!
here they are, out of the oven. I figured I'd take a picture of them before I eat them all. haha, I've only eaten half of one. I should save at least one for Mike, right?
the package did say you could brush an egg wash over the tops before baking, but I opted not to. The crust is a bit crunchier than I had hoped, but still good all the same.
I thought to myself earlier today, I better enjoy eating all this stuff now before I get preggos with the next kid. It's going to be so hard to have to give up this stuff all over again....
Seriously, enjoy it now because with pregnancy #2, they treat you like you have GD from week 8 instead of week 24!!! In some ways it's easier because you know what to eat but it also sucks a lot cuz you are on the diet MUCH longer!
