a 27 month old, eating lunch of udon noodles (again) instead of taking a nap. took out the foldable placemat (probably should've wiped the dirty table first) and gave her two mini PB crackers from Trader Joe's as a pre-snack.
bought these lovely things while at Trader Joe's. if you haven't had them yet, you must. brings me back to my days at UCI when I used to buy them from the snack cart outside the Science Library.
flowers from Mike and Keira for Mother's Day. there's a card too, but that's on the mantel under the tv.
toy vomit all over the floor, as usual.
our newly planted vegetable bed. Mike and my dad worked on it most of yesterday while I was at work. can't wait to see what grows!
Keira's first ballerina/princess dress. she got it with a few Target gift cards that she got for her birthday. the girly girl has entered the building.
a photo from yesterday. I bought a few cake slices from a Asian bakery down the street for us to share for Mother's Day. since Keira is into blowing out candles, we put one in each slice for her to have fun with.
We had a relaxing, easy-going weekend with my parents around, with us going to two parties on Saturday (one was right next door!) and my parents at a wedding Saturday night. Keira turned 27 months and my brother turned 31 on Saturday too. The weather was cloudy and gloomy, but we loved that nothing felt rushed and hurried.
my parents left for home this morning, but will be back for July 4th. I better check on the girl, whom I left to eat lunch on her own. we'll see how that goes...
i'm excited about the garden. what do you have planted? yum yum. Good job mike and granpa lieu!
