it's amazing what one can accomplish in 2 hours with a sleeping baby and a hockey-playing husband. as soon as the kiddo went down for the night, I set my sights on doing a few things before calling it a night. what did I do?
- one (more) load of laundry
- packed lunches for tomorrow
- sweeped and mopped the floor
- put clean sheets on the bed
- all the while, listening to a bit of American Idol and Olympic hockey.
I'm hoping to get to bed before 11pm, which is way earlier than what's been the norm for Mike and I. last night we were up watching women's figure skating, and something else the night before. it's a good thing I didn't have to work the last 2 days.
and because a post isn't a fun post without some pictures, here you go :)
Keira connecting with her peeps. I must seriously be on the phone too much in front of her because she knows how to slide the phone open to text, and can be found having very involved conversations on the phone with "her friends". must catch that on video soon.
enjoying some time at the park down the street from our new place. we took Erin and the girls over to see the models and stopped at the park to burn off some energy (and cupcakes...eek!). those white overalls? yea, they were brown when we got home. That Keira is such the daredevil, trying to climb the climbing ramp on her own or going head first down the slide. Erin just about had a coronary watching her play.
so that's that. time for me to hit the sack! g'nite!
