beat the heck up

 

hello Monday. 

work was totally kick ass today and by that I mean that I along with my two techs totally knocked it out of the park.  by 12:30pm, we had 100 scripts filled and the counter was clean.  I really wanted to do the touchdown dance, I was so excited.  not only was it the first of the month, but it was also the first real day after a holiday weekend.  AND I got to go home while the sun was still out too.

I managed to get stuff for dinner (penne pasta with mushrooms and hot links and salad too) and cook that dinner in time for Mike to come home to it.  Then we headed out to run a bunch of errands too, while I still had the will and the energy to do so.  All the hustle and bustle of work today really hit me hard, so I had to get stuff done before I pooped out.

picked up Christmas photo cards from Costco, returned some pipes and connectors to Home Depot, bought our first Christmas gift purchase at Bed, Bath and Beyond and dropped off enough baby clothes at Mike's brother's house to clothe 2 dozen baby boys.  We still have another 2-60 gallon totes at home of boy clothes that hopefully we'll use...if we're having a boy.

 

now, we're home and I'm totally ready to poop out in bed.  Mike's watching the hockey game, and eating again.  Sucks that I'm fasting until tomorrow morning.  I sort of didn't pass the glucose test I took last week, so I'm taking another one tomorrow morning.  It's a 3 hour one, so let's hope I don't pass out from hunger or boredom while I'm at the lab.

i had to the 3 hour test too... totally sucked. bring lots to do!

doesn't it feel awesome to do a bajillion things and 764 errands and cross it all off your list? then again, it also feels awesome to stay in pjs alllll day. depends on the mood ;)

omg, your cute counter thing says 66 days to go... that's like two months away! we're still in holding pattern, too... aloha shirt or aloha dress ;) hehe.
