That's what I was today. Mike got the maps done for the invitations but left them at work yesterday. We had lunch together today (we do this occasionally on my days off) so I got them from him, took them home, and cut them all up. He makes maps all day at work (he works for a transportation firm) so making the invite maps were a piece of cake.
Started a mini assembly line right in front of the tv, while I watched Oprah, Ellen and the 5 o'clock news. Cindy offered to help me put them together (thanks Cindy!), but I did them myself. With the rain we are having today in So Cal, it was a perfect stay-at-home project. What you see there is 140 invites ready to go (I didn't do all 225 ordered), just need to address the outer envelopes, slap on a stamp and put them in the mailbox. I have enough stamps for 160 invites, but I stopped myself from using all of them, just in case. I just need a few more addresses then I can print out the labels.
Just in case the math doesn't figure out, I plan on hand delivering some of them. so why waste a stamp?
I was up early this morning...something like 6:45am. Not sure why, I just did. I got a bunch of new layouts posted today too, set up our second appointment with Father Tom, still need to apply for the wedding license online (was on my to-do list for today) and possibly get our wedding guest book covered up in some paper I bought today from Oasis. I also got another scrap project completed today too. Will post tomorrow since I'm kinda tired now.
I think that's it.
and what's a post from me without a silly picture:
